We met with
Dr. Stuart Brown, founder of the
National Institute of Play and author of
Play: How it Shapes the Brain, Opens the Imagination, and Invigorates the Soul, which was an amazing time for us all. What an amazing man, in touch fully with both masculine and feminine sides, authentic, genuine, funny, brilliant, a story teller, Stanford professor, and passionate about tennis, play, his family and a group of men that are his family.
As we sat and tossed him a variety of questions, I observed him being so interested in each one of us. What a refreshing experience. He encouraged each one of us as we pursued what play means to us.
“Matter, in all of its forms and spirit are joined in mystical union, with play as the best medium to experience both in transformational experiential ways”. Stuart Brown
